DR. JOSE PELAYO

Dr. Jose Pelayo was a NYCC client of Whitney Transition and a student representative with goals of owning successful multidiscipline clinics. He got what he asked for. You can too.

He graduated and moved to Florida in opening the first of his 7 clinics. His clinics have included Chiropractic, General and Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Pulmonary Medicine. The clinic's staff included Physiatrists, a Cardiologist, Physical Therapists and Podiatrists.

He built the organization through a variety of aggressive and creative marketing strategies, including in-house patient education, community health talks, a daily radio show and television infomercials. He even developed his own bus service to meet the transportation demands of his growing practices.

Dr Pelayo's high community profile and personal interest in the insurance industry led to contractual relationships with HMOs and other managed care entities. His seven offices served many patients. As a result, he successfuly developed relationships with third party payors such as Medicare, Medicaid, several HMOs, PPOs, EPOs, Workers Comp and Personal Injury insurance companies. Dr. Pelayo has developed various chiropractic and medical based networks which served approximately 150,000 lives for CAC Ramsey. Currently, Dr. Pelayo is the CEO and Chairman for National Chiropractic Network and Orthopedix. Together, they take risk on close to 1,000,000 lives.

Dr. Pelayo lives in Miami Beach, Florida, with his wife Martha. He is available as a consultant to answer insurance and multidiscipline based questions.
